Hot cars are be often tragedy but you can avoid by knowing hot cars well. Hot cars in closed condition can heat up to dangerous levels in a few minutes even on a warm sunny day at temperatures as mild as 60 ^of. Moreover during the summer months the temperature inside a parked car can reach more than 120 ^of. When the outside temperature is 80 - 100 ^of , the inside of hot cars can quickly reach temperatures up to 131 - 172 ^of . That can quickly lead to heat stroke and death, even after just 10 or 15 minutes in the hot cars. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that about 25 kids a year die after being left alone in hot cars. At lease two dangerous thing are caused by hot cars.

The signs of heat exhaustion include profuse sweating, headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, muscle weakness, and visual disturbances. Untreated it can lead to heat stroke.
