When Henry Ford in 1914 increased productivity of automotive cars eight fold in comparison with usual production , people just thought automotive cars made transportation easier and no predicted how high automotive cars cause  environment damage. Today production the automotive cars increase be million fold and also so amount of energy used by automotive cars.

Actually automotive cars burn over 280 billion gallons of gasoline and diesel fuel yearly in 2008. Automotive cars support increasing the highest point of CO2 levels in 160,000 years, and global temperatures at their highest since the Middle Ages and much of that increase is directly related to the burning of fossil fuels. Automotive cars with petrol driven internal combustion engines produce toxic waste products that pollute the air, damaging our health, animal life and the environment.

Nowdays we need automotive cars that more efficient in consume fuels, more over  develop automotive cars with non fossil fuels.  There are battery electric automotive cars, biofuels automotive cars, gasoline/electric and plug-in hybrids automotive cars, hydrogen automotive cars, and various alternative fuels for automotive cars.

Commonly Electric Automotive cars  be powered by lead acid batteries. Lithium-Ion battery for automotive cars has a much longer travelling range after recharging and this may revive the manufacture of electric automotive cars vehicles. Nickel Metal Hydride batteries with cadmium are now used in the petrol/electric hybrid system for batteries is not in place

Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs)

Hybrid Electric Automotive Cars are less costly to run and more efficient than petrol driven automotive cars. Electric power reduces the load on the engine so they can go twice as far on a litre of petrol as conventional vehicles and they produce 50 percent less carbon dioxide pollution. Hybrid Electric Automotive Cars use electric motors in concert with other energy sources.

Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles

Hydrogen fuel cell automotive cars run on electricity generated through combining hydrogen with oxygen. The fuel cells use hydrogen taken from petrol, methanol or natural gas as a fuel, and the oxygen comes from the air. Coated electrodes convert the hydrogen and oxygen to water and this reaction releases energy as electricity to power the motor. Hydrogen fuel cell automotive cars produce no noise, toxic emission free, greater efficiency than petrol driven  automotive cars no need recharging. Even fuel cell automotive cars are still expensive to produce, we hope newest invention  could revolutionise road transport with their potential to reduce energy use, harmful emissions and reliance on fossil fuels.

Solar Automotive Cars

A solar automotive cars are powered by solar energy obtained from solar panels on the surface of the solar automotive cars. Photovoltaic (PV) cells convert the Sun’s energy directly into electrical energy. Solar automotive cars are not practical day-to-day transportation devices at present, but next development can make it better .An advanced solar automotive cars that can cruise in a range from 50 to 60 miles per hour and weighs less than 500 pounds.

After realise the recent condition of our environment, we realy hope, all kind of the green cars can produced in economic scale and no more pollution for save our world from serious environment damage soon…
